I created a quick tutorial to discuss how to create and edit teams in APBA Major League Players Baseball.
Here’s a rundown of the requirements:
- APBA Major League Players Baseball – Game Disk (DOS version)
- APBA Baseball Wizard (DOS version)
- optional: APBA Major League Players Baseball – Season Disks
- optional: Duerk’s Encyclopedia (DOS version)
APBA Major League Players Baseball was developed by Miller Associates and published by Random House in 1985 for the IBM PC personal computer and 1986 for the Apple ][. I’m utilizing the IBM PC edition (version 2.0) in my tutorial, however the menu options and key combinations are similar in both versions of the game.
It is recommended that your data disk(s) are subfolders placed directly below the folder containing the APBA DOS executable files. The data disk subfolder needs to be named in the following manner:
folder-name.ddr (example: C:\APBA\1990.ddr)
